Play Off Results

2024 2nd XI Cup, Vase and Bowl Competitions

Dates and Draws for the Cup, Vase and Bowl
Phase Two      
All Semi Finals Tuesday 3rd September Reserve Dates 5th and 8th Sept
All Finals Tuesday 10th September Reserve Date 12th and 15th Sept

The Cup will involve the top 2 teams from each of the 5 Phase 1 Regional Groups. With any required seedings based on average points in Phase 1.

The Vase will involve the third and fourth placed teams from each of the 5 Phase 1 Regional Groups. With any required seedings based on average points in Phase 1.

The Bowl will involve the fifth and sixth placed teams from each of the 5 Phase 1 Regional Groups. With any required seedings based n on average points in Phase 1.

Group Tables and Seedings

Where counties are level on points overall positions in the Group Tables will be determined as follows :

(1) Individual results between the two equal Counties with the County gaining most points from the matches between them being placed first.
(2) If still equal, then : The best run rate of the two Counties, based on overs that have been completed
(3) If still equal, then : The toss of a coin by the Competition Organiser

For seeding purposes if counties have the same average points the seedings will be determined as follows :

(1) The County with the best run rate
(2) If still equal then : The toss of a coin by the Competition Organiser via a Zoom Meeting

Officials and Grounds

The Finals will be played at grounds arranged by the Competition Organiser

Counties will be expected to provide suitable home grounds where necessary and provide an umpire and scorer for all fixtures.
